Bio
Based in Chicago, Matt Hickey has been in the paper industry for 18 years. Matt started on the publication/commercial side of the industry, managing magazine, catalog and commercial printing business from Chicago to the West Coast. The majority of his career has been focused in the specialty papers area, including coated C1S, release liner, label and converting product lines, and packaging and containerboard. Matt currently leads our C1S/specialty paper sales, which includes our Oxford C1S grade line as well as Trident Wet Strength, and handles containerboard grades for the Chicago area, as well as national buyers.
Matt holds a Master’s degree in sports marketing from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a USA Hockey Certified Coach.

Based in Kansas City, Kan., Greg Savage leads ND Paper’s commercial sales team, covering printer bought business, Coated Free Sheet, and Rumford Offset sales in the U.S. and Canada. Greg’s 26 years in the paper industry include roles in finance, sales, sales management, and sales/marketing executive leadership positions with various companies – most recently New Page/ Catalyst. He has served as Chairman and the Board of Directors of the National Paper Trade Association and the Paper Foundation.

Bio
Steve Wareham is directly responsible for ND Paper’s largest printing and writing customer, as well as direct customers and third-party partners in coated groundwood sales. Steve entered the paper industry in 1992 and most of his career has been in printing and writing grades, recently expanding into specialty sales. Steve’s focus on the printing and writing industry makes him an expert on our coated and uncoated groundwood lines.
Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Western Illinois University and a Master of Science in Management with concentrations in marketing and strategy from the Krannert Graduate School of Management in Purdue University. He is based in central Illinois.

Bio
Susan Blank is a proven sales professional with more than 18 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry. She manages a global portfolio of publishing, specialty and pulp customers. Susan is responsible for ND Paper’s growing pulp market which includes virgin and recycled pulp from our pulp mills in Rumford, Maine, Fairmont, W. Va. and the recently-reopened Old Town, Maine mill. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University, and is based in New York.

Based in South Carolina, Pat Lay has 33 years of successful experience in the paper industry with a focus on containerboard sales. He brings his leadership skills from Sales Management, General Management, and Area Sales Management to ND Paper’s growing containerboard product line.
Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Eastern Illinois University. He is married and has five children; he enjoys entertaining, playing, golf cooking and his large network of friends and family.

Eric is based in the Dayton, OH regional office. In his 20-year career in the pulp and paper industry, he was worked in production, product development, sales and marketing. With this breadth of knowledge and experience, Eric works at all levels of the business–from operations to marketing to customer solutions–to facilitate a successful sales process. Eric holds a degree in Paper Engineering from Western Michigan University.

Bio
Based in Montreal, Joe Aguiar has 22 years of experience in the pulp and papermaking industry. He started in a treasury position, but moved into an international customer service role, eventually becoming Sales Director and managing sales initiatives for coated graphic papers in the Canadian, U.S. Midwest, and South American markets for M-real (Metsa). Joe has additional experience and exposure to containerboard from his time at Cascades Canada, and brings his expertise in the printing and writing industry to ND Paper’s quickly developing containerboard business. Joe holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University) in Montreal, with a major in Finance & minor in Marketing. He currently volunteers as a treasurer at a local nonprofit and coaches his children’s local sports teams.

Based in Philadelphia, David LaPrise has 35 years of experience in the paper manufacturing industry. His background includes sales and management roles in office papers, specialty printing papers and commercial printing papers in both the manufacturing and distribution channels. He has a strong background in driving sales at the commercial printer level on coated freesheet and groundwood products. David serves the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic U.S. print marketplaces, with an emphasis on coated free sheet manufactured at our Rumford mill. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine.

Bio
Based in Chicago, Sara Lucas brings a tremendous amount of industry experience in almost all segments of the paper industry, with a focus in the coated arena. She started her paper career in specification sales focusing on graphic designers, ad agencies and end users, and has evolved to a focus on commercial printers, book printers, publishers, and corporate accounts. She currently leads ND Paper’s commercial sales efforts in the Midwestern and Western United States in addition to handling national account business. Sara holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Elementary Education from DePaul University, Chicago.

Jeff Previdi has over 20 years of industry experience selling coated freesheet, C1S, coated groundwood, and pulp to publishers, printers, merchants and brokers. His various sales roles have covered New England, the Midwest, and Southeast. At ND Paper, Jeff is wherever our specialty, printing & writing, and pulp customers need him. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bethany College and is based in Connecticut.

Bio
Based in Virginia Rich Reutti has been in the paper industry for 18 years and in food and industrial packaging for 31 years. Rich started in plastic flexible food packaging in the north east and transitioned into paper based flexible food packaging serving the US and international markets. Rich is responsible for growing the Natural Kraft Specialties business for ND Papers. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, is an avid salt water fishermen, dirt biker and a USA Swimming Certified Chief Judge.

With 22 years in the paper industry, Chris Trittenbass has held several sales and sales management positions in Containerboard, Newsprint, Machine Finished and Coated papers. His broad experience brings to his role an excellent understanding of how to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Chris’ primary area of focus is in the growing fiber-based packaging market with emphasis on Containerboard and Kraft Paper. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and is currently based in Seattle.

Bio
Barb Humbertson is an experienced industry professional who has worked as both a paper engineer and technical customer service representative during her 32-year tenure. Based in Cumberland, Md., Barb serves our customers in the Northeast U.S. and Ontario, Canada. She holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, Frostburg, and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse, N.Y.

Bio
Originally based in Maryland, Greg Sampson has been in the paper industry for more than 25 years focusing on the east coast, stretching from Quebec to Florida. Greg recently moved to the Chicago area in 2019 and covers the Midwest region for our technical customer service team. Greg’s specialty has always been printing and writing paper – prior to working in the paper industry, he worked in the printing industry for 16 years running paper on sheet-fed offset, web heat-set offset and flexo presses. Greg is certified in Deming’s Total Quality Management and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
