The Corporate Organizational Development Manager assists in creating the human capital management strategy and is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive learning strategy focused on developing employees to improve productivity, performance and leadership capability. This includes collaboration and a partnership with the corporate, division and human resource leaders in aligning the training program development and delivery to meet business needs.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement talent development programs
  • Design and recommend learning curriculum for effective training delivery; collaborating with corporate, division leadership and human resource teams to define training and development needs
  • Recommend the appropriate medium for delivering training topics and learning curriculum
  • Participate in a human resource team focused on improving, but not limited to:
    • Human Capital Planning
    • Team Building Initiatives
    • High Potential Employee Development
    • Succession Planning Program Development
    • Leadership Development
    • Managerial Training
  • Develop training design and facilitation capabilities across the organization
  • Develop and teach the learning network on how to design and develop training content
  • Conduct classroom facilitation and/or train-the-trainer sessions
  • Create learning management system best practices for inputting and maintaining data
  • Design reporting capabilities for learning activities
  • Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs
  • Oversee the creation and continued maintenance of a training content knowledge management strategy
  • Ensure records of training programs (evaluation, participation, etc.) are maintained
  • Partner with and manage external training providers as needed
  • Manage the evaluation of training processes to ensure that sound instructional design principles are applied and that all training materials are aligned to corporate policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years in a combination of setting up and managing a human capital planning process high potential training and development
  • Experience in training all levels within a manufacturing organization
  • Experience in managing and conducting training classes
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills
  • Knowledge of LMS and computer-based learning systems; knowledge of Ulti-Pro a plus
